About Us

 Marcella Gladney Lee grew up with deep roots in the Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri communities.  She received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and LLM-Elder Law from the University of Kansas School of Law. Marcella began her legal career as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid of Western Missouri. Her legal career also includes positions as a Hearing Officer for the State of Missouri, a Grievance Hearing Officer for the Kansas City, Missouri School District, and several other positions with community social services agencies.  

After serving several years as Vice President/General Counsel for the college preparatory program, Kauffman Scholars, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, she launched Lee Legal Solutions as an accessible and comprehensive legal resource for the aging population, families, and the greater Kansas City area community. 

Marcella concentrates her practice on estate planning, elder law, and probate. Time is spent to explain and ensure that the client understands when and why it is needed and help them navigate the often-confusing requirements of these areas.
